I know when i think of skateboarding i think of Tony Hawk, but in the past few years a new star has emerged and is being recognized in many ways beyond his amazing skateboarding skills, Ryan Sheckler. Ryan Sheckler has been a professional skateboarder since 2003, winning medals, money and more money. He has won the X Games, Gravity Games, Vans Triple Crown, Slam City Jam and many other competitions and proving himself to be one of the greatest skateboarders to ever live. But is that better than Tony Hawk? Tony Hawk was one of the first skateboarders to take skateboarding to another level of recognition. Tony Hawk became a pro in 1982 at the age of 14. He has won many of competitions including the X Games but what he is most remembered by his trick, The 900 which he created in 1999. Tony Hawk has been a very influential figure in skateboarding because he is one of the pioneers of skateboarding making it a huge sport in the world today. But who is the best skateboarder?
